769. Agronomist

Driscoll’s
Tasks
Give technical input to local growers, informing results, crop techniques, and new varieties improvements trough visiting farms
and setting Driscoll’s grower meetings.
Ensure that the Agronomy Team is aligned with all other departments involved, to achieve the long term plan.
Liaise with Nursery department on requirements of plant material as plant handling or growing date.
Coordinate with Breeding Department on variety development.
Liaise with Production and Quality Departments on achievements of Driscoll’s standards.
Share experiences and practical knowledge with other colleagues as Agronomy, Breeding, Nursery or Applied research
departments, within Europe but also other countries.
Ensure all agronomy activities are based upon the agreed company Strategic plan.
Create the believe in and execute the Driscoll’s Mission, Vision &Values.
Any other tasks requested by management which is expected to be within the job holders qualities and qualifications.

You are the ideal candidate for us if you have a minimum University degree in Agriculture/Horticulture, and up to 3 years working
experience in a relevant role.
You have good interpersonal skills that fit our values. Working at different levels from strategic to operational is your strength, and
you are able to work high independently within a strategic framework. You have work experience within an international
environment .

Other key-words: flexible, pro-active, enthusiastic, self-supportive and service oriented with excellent communication skills. Your
Portuguese and English are fluent; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
