- Budgetary Responsibility: responsible for helping to define the annual international sales budget

- Technical Responsibility: qualifying opportunities from technical perspective and helping define technical solutions within specific budgets. Identifying technical requirements of specific market segments and presenting technical solution to customers/investors.
- Commercial Responsibility: delivering on annual revenue and margin targets
Key activities and responsibilities:
- Finding technically and commercially attractive PV opportunities in emerging markets working alongside Business Developers and partners in emerging markets
- Identifying and qualifying direct sales to commercial customers in target countries and negotiating and closing contracts with them
- Identifying technical challenges/needs of customers and market segments
- Working closely with and supporting Solarcentury development and investor partners
- Supporting international marketing events
- Identifying new markets and developing strategies to enter these markets
- Creating commercial and technical proposals for direct customers and investors
- Weekly reporting on project pipeline, competition, market developments
- Managing travel budget
- Negotiating EPC contracts with investor partners
- Delivering the annual revenue and margin budget
- Extensive international travel
- Working closely with the CTO and Isolated Grid Business Development Manager
Competências e experiências desejadas
- Technical degree. Excellent understanding of PV technologies and competing technologies
- Proven track record in high value international sales with ability to sell at exec/board level, ideally in the PV or other renewable markets
- Experience with and development and presentation of financial business models. Working with investors on £m projects
- Experience with and development and presentation of financial business models. Working with investors on £m projects
- Customer orientated approach, ability to sell at engineering to exec level, understanding and identifying customer needs, developing and presenting customer solutions
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong initiative and creative thinking
- Fluent in English and Spanish (ideally Portuguese as well)
