A global organisation is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with a Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering background to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their prestigious site on the South Coast in Hampshire. This position is initially a two year fixed term contract. Extensive training will be given on the client's product and there are excellent career opportunities for the successful candidate.
Working within a complex engineering environment the Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers, distributors and the internal field based sales team.
Other responsibilities include providing customers with quotations and following up quotations to secure orders, dealing with technical or commercial queries, working toward team and individual conversion targets and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to be degree qualified in either Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering. In addition to this candidates need to have excellent communication skills including on the telephone. It would be advantageous to have either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish language skills however this is not essential.
The role of Technical Sales Engineer is commutable from Portsmouth, Cosham, Southampton, Fareham, Segensworth, Chichester, Bognor and other areas within Hampshire, West Sussex and the South Coast.
