MarketKey is a conference and business intelligence company. Our purpose is to provide best in-class business conferences and learning platforms specialising in engineering, IT and product innovation.  Having experienced quick and sustained growth based on our commitment to high quality, end-user led, vendor agnostic content, we are now looking to add expertise and professionalism to our production team at our central London office.
The primary focus of this role will to develop content for our popular online manufacturing community, providing a coherent topic-based webinar series throughout the year.   You will be responsible for identifying interesting product stories and case studies and confirming speakers’ participation, in order to deliver a consistent stream of high quality case-study based content.
You will have a sophisticated approach, building relationships with thought-leaders in relevant fields, and an appetite to develop a deep understanding of the Innovation, PLM, design and engineering sector.  You should also be comfortable working for a small company with all the greater responsibility, work, and opportunity that that entails.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying interesting product stories and case studies which resonate with our audience.
  • Researching companies and organisations, identifying potential speakers and confirming their participation.
  • Developing issue specific mini-series of web seminars.
  • Tapping into existing networks and building your own to develop close relationships with industry thought-leaders
  • Assisting the Head of Production in crafting compelling event agendas.
  • Working with, and delivering briefs to, departmental teams (marketing, account managers, delegate & sponsorship sales, management)  
  • Copywriting post event reports, research and speaker interviews.
Skills & Experience
Required
  • Excellent written English.
  • A confident manner – you will be required to chair and moderate speaker sessions, both webinars and events. 
  • Excellent phone manner, articulate and persuasive with exceptional communication both oral and written.
  • An interest in manufacturing, engineering and IT.
Desirable
  • A second language (esp. German, French, Portuguese)
  • Education or experience of engineering, PLM, data management, product development or industrial design.

Salary details: £25k-£30k + benefits
