Description and Desired Qualifications
CH2M Hill and Halcrow are looking to recruit an Enabling Works Project Manager to work on the high profile Thames Tideway Tunnel Project in London. We can offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, good benefits and personal and professional development

Accountabilities:

Budget responsibility – management of the enabling works team and budget.
Establishment of future budget for further enabling works within the agreed targets.
Develop and deliver Enabling Works plan to meet objectives & budget
Manage Enabling Works activity
Chair regular integration meetings
Chair regular senior meetings with stakeholders & consultants
Ensure enabling works meets overall requirements of programme
Recognise areas for improvement and communicate them to senior management to ensure continual improvement
Evaluate and consider HSSE and CDM (Construction, Design and Management) by the virtue of robust preparation, planning and execution of works.
Basic Qualifications

Person specification:


  • Significant experience in Project Management
  • EU resident or eligibility to work in the EU

  • Skills and experience:


  • Competent at chairing meetings
  • Capable of managing peers
  • Experience of negotiation

  • Characteristics and attributes:


  • Manages other teams to deliver to schedule

  • Project specific requirements:

    A valid Thames Water passport will be required in order to work at the Thames Tunnel sites. If you do not possess this card, training will be provided on site.
