Senior Project Manager - German Fluency

Main responsibilities will be:
- Represent OCP?s interest in all aspects for project execution;
- Accountable for contract review and timely resolution of related issues by the project team;
- Manage project scope and keep variations to a minimum and manage project budget;
- Approve all subcontractor payments including review and approval of invoices in accord with contract based on feedback from the Project Control group;
- Supervise implementation of the project schedule to assure completion on time;
- Assure all construction work is completed in accord with contract requirements;
- Provide direction and be responsible for management of subcontract work;
- Establish site safety requirements and assure a safe site with no fatalities, and a comprehensive accident prevention and investigation program;
- Develop and maintain a risk management plan to identify and pro-actively deal with project risks;
- Establish and manage OCP project management team responsibilities and performance.
- Provide written and verbal reports on project progress and issues regularly;
- Manage team building sessions between client, contractor and subcontractor teams.
- Lead and supervise submission of a tender / proposal in Bid Manager Role.


Profile:

- Degree (or equivalent) educated as a minimum in a related subject;
- Ideally a member of a recognized Engineering or Construction Institute or Society;
- A minimum of 15 years? experience within the oil & gas industry, of which a minimum of 5 years of most recent experience in a senior project managerial role;
- Excellent knowledge of relevant International standards, e.g. ISO 9000 suite, ISO 10000 suite, ISO 19011 etc;
- Familiar with current HSSE and Quality Management methodology, tools and techniques;
- Ability to provide functional strategic planning, to effectively motivate, lead and support a multi-cultural team, and to adopt a dynamic, problem solving approach to tasks;
- Must comply with the Company Code of Business Conduct (COBC)
