Construction, design/statics and
hydrology/hydraulics engineers
You are in demand
The University of Namibia requires your expertise in setting up and expanding Bachelor’s
and Master’s degree programmes at its Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.
The objective is to strengthen existing capacities and so provide the university with a centre of
 excellence in education geared towards the labour market.
The faculty opened in 2009 and is still developing.

Your tasks
• Teaching in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes
• Designing and implementing a strategy to improve education
• Developing curricula
• Training lecturers in the relevant technical areas

Your skills and qualifications
• University degree in engineering specialising in one of the areas mentioned, a doctorate would
  be an advantage
• Several years’ teaching experience
• Experience gained in an audit committee would also be an advantage
• Business fluency in English
