J299. Project Engineer Wind Energy - South Africa

Degree in Civil / Mech / Elec / Constr Engineering or Management

2 Month Contract – Execute civil activities of the construction project ito quality, time and cost incl. quantity surveying and billing of the project

• Manage construction project and post-construction issues
• Ensure timely completion of construction activities on site incl. balance of the plant and Wind Farm system
• Co-ordinate with engineering and design teams and with main /sub-contractors, monitor their performance in view of project schedule
• Site supervision and technical support
• Conduct quality / safety audits
• Ensure adherence to rules, regulations and guidelines through the entire course of the project
• Manage project resources, costs, time and productivity
• Material requirement planning and submit to relevant section
• Preparing reports regarding progress on sites and targeting timely
• Settle disputes / clarifications during execution of project
•  

 • Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Construction Engineering or Management with sound management experience regarding turnkey projects, steel constructions or the energy sector.
• At least 7 years construction site experience in the Wind/Solar/ Power / Energy sector
• Experience in civil activities in Wind/ Solar /Power / Energy Sector
• Knowledge of Safety and other Government regulations
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good planning and organizing skills
