The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key skills, knowledge and experience:
- 18 months plus post-graduate experience in a construction/environmental related role.
- A first or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) in
architecture, building, building services, environmental engineering,
energy, civil engineering, planning or equivalent experience.
- Excellent technical understanding of building design, construction
and procurement, energy efficiency, sustainability and policy within the
built environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Be fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Qualified BREEAM Assessor
- Practical experience of carrying out BREEAM assessments to
certification and BREEAM/Sustainability related consultancy on new build
construction projects.
- Knowledge of the UK public and commercial sectors, in terms of
building construction, sustainability and Government sustainability
policy
- Member of a relevant professional institute e.g. IEMA, CIOB, CIBSE, ISE
- Willingness to travel internationally
